The Halk Bank Library, in collaboration with the Psychological Counseling Center (CAPS), organized a Breast Cancer Awareness Workshop to raise awareness and promote education, prevention, and support related to breast cancer.
The workshop featured distinguished speakers who addressed the medical, psychological, and biological aspects of the disease:
Asst. Sumea Ramadani, licensed psychologist and university lecturer, spoke about the emotional and psychological impact of breast cancer.
Dr. Mimoza Ramadani, oncology specialist, shared insights on diagnosis, treatment, and prevention.
Assoc. Prof. Angelina Sredovska Bozhinov, expert in histology and genetics, discussed the biological factors contributing to cancer development.
Participants had the opportunity to engage in a meaningful discussion during the Q&A session and were encouraged to explore the library’s resources on women’s health, cancer awareness, and wellbeing.
