Interactive Book Reading Workshop for students of Tefeyyüz Primary School

On the occasion of International Children’s Day on June 1, the Halkbank Library and the Department of Turkish Language Teaching at the International Balkan University organized an Interactive Book Reading Workshop for students of Tefeyyüz Primary School, led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Özlem Kurt. During the workshop, children explored the children’s book Üç Çok Mu? through an interactive reading approach. They actively participated by making predictions, answering questions, sharing their ideas, and engaging with the story in a meaningful way. Following the reading session, students took part in a variety of creative and educational activities inspired by the book. The workshop concluded with the children creating and presenting their own artworks, allowing them to express their imagination and reflect on the themes of the story. As part of the celebration of International Children’s Day, the event aimed to foster a love of reading, encourage creativity, and provide children with an enjoyable and enriching learning experience.
